A vintage Japanese movie poster of ''Splendor in the Grass'', a dramatic romance film released in 1961. It was directed by Elia Kazan and written by William Inge, who also penned the screenplay. The film is known for its exploration of themes related to sexual repression, social expectations, and the emotional struggles of young love.

The story is set in the 1920s in a small Kansas town and revolves around the passionate but tumultuous relationship between two high school sweethearts, Wilma Dean "Deanie" Loomis (played by Natalie Wood) and Bud Stamper (played by Warren Beatty). Deanie is a sensitive and sexually inexperienced young woman who comes from a strict, upper-class family. Bud is a charismatic and athletic young man from a working-class background.
